This is a really sad state of affairs: porn perfomer  Jenni Lee [real name Stephanie Sadorra] was recently found houseless and living underneath the tunnels beneath the Las Vegas strip: 
Someone has set up a crowdfunding site to help her get back on her feet, which you can find here: . I feel like if you've masturbated to her before even once, you probably owe her $5 at least, right? I would donate $5 for every time I've come for her, but I'd probably go bankrupt! I will be leaving what I can though.
As sad and heartbreaking as this particular case is, it also seems like this is a systematic problem within the porn industry, in which former stars risk falling into poverty and homelessness once their careers slow down and they are perceived to be less desirable, and as new, younger porn stars take their place. [You can be like 35 years old in the porn industry and already considered a "MILF" [a phrase that I truly detest], and then shipped out the door on your 40th birthday...] It seems like a vicious and depressing cycle, and I wish there were some set of resources or support groups  to help porn performers live healthy and meaningful lives after their careers start to dwindle, since I imagine it would be difficult to find other career options after your entire existence has been reduced to the label of "porn performer."
So, consider helping Jenni Lee/Stephanie Sadorra get back on her feet, and I hope this is also an occasion to help us be more mindful about the true costs and the sometimes harmful effects of porn consumption and of reducing performers to mindless, mute sex objects without real, meaningful, and important lives.
